This Project has been funded by the Australian Government Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations
The Health 'Hubs and Spokes' Project is a collaborative program between the Australian National University and the University of South Australia.
The project provides students from both Universities with access to a wider range of study options in medical and allied health programs. Students also have opportunities to participate in interprofessional learning experiences in rural and remote areas.
Increasing access to higher education opportunities for students from a wide range of economic and cultural backgrounds is another aim of the project. Indigenous students and those from rural and remote areas are particularily supported.
On behalf of The Australian National University (ANU) and the University of South Australia (UniSA) we are proud to be collaborating through the ANU/UniSA Alliance in Medical and Health Education.
This project offers new learning experiences for students with opportunities for communities to benefit from the complementary strengths of the two universities. It is a practical demonstration of what can be achieved when different universities work together for the benefit of students and the broader community.
